Mark Crosby

Mark Crosby is an avid Disc Golfer who has been playing the sport since 1979. Mark has since gone on to compete in several Disc Golf tournaments and leagues around the U.S. He is also a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA), which promotes the growth and development of disc golf. Mark is a great example of someone who found a passion for Disc Golf and has worked hard to cultivate it. We hope his story can inspire others to get outside, enjoy the game, and make new friends!

Johnny Roberts #115
was a legend

Johnny was an Arvada local who taught at Arvada West High School and fell in love with the sport of Disc Golf and forever changed the game.

“(1931-1994)-Gentle, fair and friendly, Johnny Roberts embodied the joyous spirit of disc golf. His lifelong custom of warmly embracing everyone he met earned him the affectionate title of the “Squeezer Geezer”. Though he held several Grandmasters and Senior Grandmasters titles and records, Johnny always downplayed the importance of winning and instead focused on having fun. He preferred to compete with people, not against them. A teacher throughout his life, he taught us to enjoy the game and love others. Johnny Roberts literally hugged the world, and in doing so forever warmed the heart of Disc Golf.” He was induced into the PDGA Hall of Fame in 1995.
